British Cycling Go-Ride
Minehead Merlins are a British Cycling registered club open to all children between the ages of 6 and 16 from Minehead and the surrounding areas.
We currently have approximately 80 members focussed primarily on mountain biking although we also have road and cycle-cross members.
Our adult volunteers are all British Cycling qualified in MTB Coaching and Leadership including First Aid and Safeguarding.
Mountain Biking
Throughout the year during term time we run MTB sessions on Saturday mornings between 10:00 and 12:00. These are divided by ability into 4 groups (Black, Red, Blue and Green) each being led by a British Cycling L2 qualified Mountain Bike Leader.
The locations vary week by week typically on Exmoor and sometimes on the Quantocks or further afield.
